Julep Maven For One Penny!!!

I went to check my mail today and I had a slip for a package... I was like "what is in the mail for me?"..than I picked up a black box that had the brand Julep Maven..I placed an order using a promo code and received this for ONLY 1 PENNY!!! It took about 5 days to get my package, which is pretty fast, for one penny, don't you think? I was sooo excited that I opened it right when it was in my hands, due to my curiosity of the nail colors they have shipped me. In the box it was neatly wrapped as shown in the pictures above. In the plastic wrap with bubble wrap were two nail colors in Penelope 2069 and Portia 2033 8ml (.27 oz) and it includes a nail filer on top of the beauty polishes; beside it is a glycolic acid hand scrub 89ml (3 fl oz) in a black box. The scrub doe not contain parabens, phthalates, or sulfates which is a SUPER!!!


Of course I had to paint my plain nails, the first two fingers is the color Penelope, which is a very light bubble gum pink, several coats are needed and the ring finger is the color Portia on my ring finger is a glittery tint of light baby blue.For that color, I did two coats, it's really pretty. The pink however, does not really paint smoothly so here is a hint; make sure to load the brush with enough color before applying on the nails like sort of slowly dipping for a smoother application. I am very impressed and shock. I thought it was a scam at first until I read up on it and saw some YouTube videos where they have received the package for only one cent.
