Cargo: Blush & Lip gloss

Hey! Hey! Just a little mini haul from Sephora. I went to the mall and stopped by the Jcpenny store since Sephora is inside Jcpenny. Here I come along and I see red SALE signs, without hesitation I walked over to that section and here I find all the Cargo line going on sale including some other great brands such as the Body Shop. I also picked up two items from that line also. Apparently, Cargo is not being carried by Sephora anymore. I never tried Cargo cosmetics, so this is my first. I only picked up two items from the cargo line, a blush and a lip gloss.
The blush I picked up is Key Largo, as for the lip gloss I picked up fresno.

What Cargo says about the blush:

Key Largo (tropical punch)
Finally, a blush that makes sense. These blushes are packaged in oversized tins. Why is big better? The large surface area lets you pick up pigment evenly on a blush brush for a better application. These blushes are moist, sheer powders that glide easily on the skin.
Sheer, blendable, and natural-looking, CARGO blushes are used professionally on the sets of TV and film. The wide surface area make them easy to use with large blush brushes, allowing for an even application of product.
Key Ingredients:
  • Silica - An oil replacement that gives our blush a long wearing, silky, blendable and layerable texture for foolproof application every time.
  • Aloe Vera - Extracted from the aloe plant, Aloe Vera offers soothing hydration to the skin and is particularly good for sensitive skin.
  • Vitamin E - An effective anti oxidant and skin conditioner that helps to fight the damaging effects of free radicals and repair minor damage found on the surface of the skin.

There are swatches above on the left is flash and for the right side, it's just the natural lighting in my room. The blush is really nice but sweeping it over with a brush would be such a bright pink so I gently dab not to pick up that much pigment. It's a gorgeous pink, so if the blush is not dark enough, can simply apply more since it's the blush is build-able. As for the lip gloss, the color is very neutral pink and very cute. The Cargo Long wear lip gloss is a sticky consistency, which I don't really like but it is a subtle pink hue and it keeps the lips for quite sometime unless you start snacking like I do, it comes off like any other lip product. I really like how the lip product is paraben-free which I love to hear.

The blush was $8 and it has a lot of product, I also took it out of the tin and placed it in my unii palette. The blush at original price for cargo blush is $29..yikes!!! I saved $11 dollars from getting it on sale at Sephora. For the lip gloss, it cost $4 dollars, which is not bad for a high end product. It's original price is $14. I saved $10. Overall, I am very pleased with the items I purchased and I would purchase Cargo again hence if it is on sale.
